Practical advice: an integrated printer is a service item. Plan the roll access so staff can change paper without moving the terminal, and keep a spare mechanism in the region if you run multiple sites — a till that cannot print is a till that cannot trade.

The compute is Rockchip RK3288, a quad-core Cortex-A17 at up to 1.8 GHz with 2 GB RAM (4 GB optional) and 16 GB storage (32 GB optional), running Android 7.1 or 8.1. That is a modest, proven platform suited to a single-purpose POS application — and it is worth being clear about the limit: an Android 7/8 base is older than current payment SDKs sometimes accept. If your software vendor requires Android 11 or later, the DCA-NB11 or the 156A is the correct choice instead; we would rather point you elsewhere than sell a terminal that fails certification later.

The display is 11.6 inch, 1366×768 standard with 1920×1080 optional, 250 nits, 16:9, projective capacitive touch. On an 11.6-inch panel the FHD option is more valuable than it is on a 15-inch screen — text density is higher and 1366×768 gets cramped with a modern UI. Take it.

OEM/ODM

Logo, enclosure colour, packaging, pre-loaded application and boot screen are configurable on the standard body. This model is a common private-label entry point for distributors because the form factor is distinctive and the unit cost is low — a branded 11.6-inch all-in-one is an easy product to sell into small-operator channels.

Can it run a cash drawer?

Yes, via the standard drawer kick-out port or through the printer interface depending on configuration. Tell us the drawer model at order stage so the cable and connector are correct.

Is the printer easy to replace if it fails?

The mechanism is a standard Seiko unit and is replaceable. We supply spare mechanisms and document the procedure; for multi-site fleets we recommend holding one spare per region rather than per site.

Does it support a customer-facing display?

Not as an integrated option on this model — the chassis is designed around the single screen and the printer. If a customer display is required, the 155A or 156A with a 10.1-inch secondary panel is the right platform.

What paper does it take?

80 mm direct thermal receipt rolls. Use a quality thermal grade — cheap paper is the most common cause of faded print and premature head wear, and it is not a warranty issue.
